Xpress Yourself Performance Team

Take your dancing to the next level with our Performance Team. This group of hard-working dancers are passionate about performing and seek to be part of a team that dances beyond the traditional academy classes. From parades and holiday performances to recital features and more, the performance team has plenty of opportunities to shine on stage. Our Performance Team is for dancers 8 and above and is great for dancers that have interest in competitive dance down the road.

Performance Team Requirements:
Team members are expected to perform in one regional competition and local events throughout the year.

Performance Team Expectations

Performance Team dancers should…
  • Be a leader.
  • Give 100% in classes and rehearsals.
  • Be able to accept positive criticism and corrections.
  • Arrive to class promptly and always be prepared.
  • Support team members even if you are not dancing and/or not attending an event.
  • Be able to balance their schoolwork and dance schedules.
  • Make sure to properly warm up, take care of your body, communicate injuries to your parents/teachers and lead a healthy lifestyle.
